Where to complain?

Hi all,

This is NOT aimed at Overclockers in the slightest. I would like to know if we can set up a section on the site to post complaints / discuss poor manufacturers customer service?

Maybe start a thread in the relevant section?

If its GFX card related, then stick it in there.
 
That'll be for GFX issues and may cloud people's posts. I'm referring to a separate section where people can complain about poor customer service / support.
 
If it's about a particular manufacturer then post it in the relevant section. If it's aimed at OcUK (you said it isn't) then post in the customer services section.
 
Have you thought about contacting Zotac directly about your dissatisfaction?

We aren't Zotac here and so can't make it "right" so to speak. Zotac might be able to.
 
This is getting slightly out of context. I wanted to see if a section could be added so that people, like me, could voice their opinion and get constructive feedback before pursuing other avenues.

A new section wont be added just for this.

If you have something to say (keeping it clean) then start a thread.
 
This is exactly why I wanted a separate section. Not for vigilante use. Simply to complain / outline issues and receive intelligent and thoughtful responses.

Fair enough, in my opinion though I doubt it will be tolerated. These companies set up their own forums and complaints procedures for this purpose.

Furthermore it's unlikely to look good on OcUK to let dedicated threads aimed at revealing peoples issues with certain companies crop up. OcUK are a business and need to be seen to promote these companies, not let people flout and dramatise their criticism of said companies as many are wont to do.

I've always said and still believe that people will invariably only ever submit feedback on something where it's likely to be negative. Most people like to speak of their issues not their praise. Although the south american rive place does tend to buck this trend somewhat...
 
Create a thread in the relative section with a clear title, and discuss in that? If it's a big enough and interesting enough thread then I guess it can be used for similar talk. As far as I can remember though there already is a sort of thread based on how good/bad RMA/Customer support is for each graphics card manufacturer somewhere on OCUK so have a look with the search function.
