Hi all,

Want to tidy up my room a bit, got a fair few pcs in here on a wired lan, so not only are there a lot of ethernet cables but there are plenty of other wires.

I was wondering where I can find some truncking or some sort of cable casing system to run around the room and tuck some of the wires, particularly the networking cables away.

Any ideas would be apreciated.

Cheers

I'd have thought somewhere like B&Q or a builders merchants really. Also lots of places that / are could be competitors.
I just did a Google for "Cable Trunking" and came up with a load of places.

Failing that, see if there are any offices, being built / refurbished near you and see if you can blag some cutoffs from there,
you may get some bits big enough for you to use.

At work we used to use CEF, city electrial something. They will be able to supply you with all your trunking, sockets etc. Think they have a website, if not they should be in the yellow pages. Usually quite keep and fast to deliver as well.

Most Trade Electrical Sellers will have Dado or some similar variant. TLC have a warehouse right near me, where i get all my cat5 etc. And at trade price :)

Focus, Wickes, B&Q and Homebase all sell it on the shelf. Available in both mini and large size with self adhesive backing on it to stick to the walls.
