Where to get a side panel for case?

Hi there,

I have a computer I'm in the process of doing up. An oldish Compaq. It's for a friends sister. Only problem is that the side panel is missing.

Is there any way to source these from anywhere? Could OcUK do it at all?

It's a compaq CQ5012UK.

Very much doubt it. You might be able to find a second hand case somewhere, but even mainstream cases can be difficult to get side panels for!

My feared suspicions were confirmed. Looks like a new case... unless someone can come up with a genius D.I.Y idea?

a piece of a cardboard, the same size as the other side panel, tape the edges, and punch some holes in for ventilation/cool air.

how much were you thinking of spending for the side panel?

just get a new case, i;d suggest getting a £20-30 one

I'll probably just get a new case. For all they are... 30 quid.
