Thought this was would be something wickes or bnq sold but unfortunately they only sell clear aryclic sheets.

Have found some on amazon, but at £45 seems expensive to me. Just need 750mm by 500mm by 3mm thick so nothing much. I can cut to size so as long as its over that I'm sorted

Any suggestions where I can try find some? Preferably a store I can go tomorrow to pick up.

Thanks

When I needed some it turned out ebay was the answer, what type of plastic sheet do you need exactly?

Perspex/Acrylic is far cheaper than polycarbonate (but still fairly expensive), potentially you might be able to get it from a sign maker as they often use it and might have sheets in stock, or be willing to sell you a suitable size offcut, failing that an engineering supply company might have it.
You might find it easier to get in a hurry as A1 (slightly over what you state) if a sign maker has some in stock ready for use in a standard frame.

I wanted the impact protection of polycarbonate to make a cover for my brother's 3d printer (so he could pop it over the resin tank in case he fumbled the print head it would transfer the shock to the metal frame rather than hit the screen).

[edit]
A google suggest about £25 for a black 5mm thick sheet of acrylic/Perspex not including shipping.

Thanks. I've had a look online and found about that same price, just not delivered until mid next week and was hoping to get this sorted by the weekend.

It's just to make a easy to wipe area in case of chemical spills. A tank will be screwed down onto a thick wood base, which sometimes drips stuff, and rather than absorb into the wood, would prefer a plastic sheet between to protect and make an area that can be wipe cleaned, plus it will look much tidier too

If you want just a wipe able waterproof surface then B&Q sell vinyl sheet flooring or visit a local independent carpet flooring shop as they usually have off cuts they sell cheaply.

Make sure you get the right material as blood and the chemical to melt bodies could seep through.

I use Stainless steel for my desolving tank.

Local large format printers should be able to sort you out with some acrylic and should be cheaper than eBay. Especially on a Saturday if you pay cash and no boss is there.

If you're going to the farm you may as well just head straight for the pigs.
