where to get ibt

sorry probably shoulda said, i did do a google, but got a bollck load of options and wasn't sure which to go for :p. cheers pal

ah right cheers mate. can i ask you another question, probably another i can get off google :p, but how do you understand the results. i've run it at default (5 times) and i get and a Time, Speed and Result thingy at the bottom, the Result one just looks like random numbers that are all the same. not sure what it means?

btw sorry for being a pest!

IBT is just a stress testing program which you use to see if your CPU/PC is stable so you shouldn't care about those numbers because its not a benchmarking software. The only thing you should keep an eye on are the temps of the CPU at the end of the test.Have a look in the Readme file that came with it......it should answer your questions about this program.

IBT on at least standard stress level is a good test of stability. High stress level is preferred - assuming you have enough RAM. As Ast3r said - don't really worry about the results, it's not a benchmark. Provided it finishes the test, within safe temperatures, and there isn't massive variance between the results, then you'll be fine.

By the way, TechPowerUp! is also a good place for little programs like IBT, GPU-Z and such.
