Where to get replacement BIOS?

Can anyone recommend a (preferably domestic) site where my friend can get a new BIOS chip for his Asus A8V motherboard? I think the particular BIOS is a Promise one.

AFAIK the only place to get one is from the manufacturer, or from another board.

I've never seen anywhere reselling BIOS chips before.

I got one here, it's in Italy though, service was fantastic, 3 day turnaround.
