As per title, does anyone know where to get reliable sheet music for songs? I mean actual sheet music, not just guitar tabs. Whether it be in books, websites or elsewhere, are there any good resources for this or is it a bit of a hit and miss topic? I'm looking for two songs in particular so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great.

Try your local library, sometimes they'll have sheet music cataloged. I imagine you've just done a regular web browser search?

I like to k wo this also, i really want to get A Fine Mess by Kate Voegele, willing to pay for it, books, or online but I cannot find it anywhere! :(

It really depends what it is you want to play. Classical music you'll often have to hunt through classical music shops and get help from them if they don't have it, Boosey and Hawkes etc. pop music will tend to either be on the internet or not at all. Soundtracks it's often best to just transcribe it yourself/

Depends what style and what instrument.

You can just google for the pieces you want - there are several decent online stores such as Musicroom, which might have something. Some of these places have physical shops you can go and have a look in.

Failing that, going to a shop that specialises in your instrument might be a good idea - from your post I take it that would be guitar? Whereabouts in the country are you; near to any specialist guitar centres (I can't help with that)?

Thanks for the comments chaps, musicnotes.com seems pretty decent. The particular song I'm looking for (Un Sandpiper by Kyuss) will probably be impossible to find online but I've found another few which might just suit my needs. There are a few guitar shops I know of around my general area (Tyrone) so I might call in and see what they have but for now musicnotes.com should suffice :)

I use musicnotes and sheetmusicdirect.

I couldn't find the songs you wanted but there's a website I always check before I buy sheet music called scribd.com - it's a place to upload documents and books.
