Hey all,

I've been out of the phone game for about 2 years now as I've had a company phone... Where should I be looking to get the best tarrifs? deals? incentives?

Cheers,
Melon.

most networks offer their best offers online, High street shops and some other online stores offer half price or cheaper line rental as a form of cashback, but i never hear good things about them, however through the actual networks the bill is discounted automatically.

Have a good look around both online and in the high street and do plenty of research. Also don't get pushed into anything in the shops, just take your time with it imo.

I also goes direct with the provider via their website.

After that, you get wicked deals when you ring up cancellations once your 12/18 months are up :P

Thanks for the feedback guys... Lookslike I'll just have to keep an eye out...

Yeah... the missus got a great deal with O2... 500 minutes... 250 text... 1 foriegn number at national rate... a few other bits... for £22.50 a month...

Problem is I'm starting from scratch... used to spend £200 a month odd with Orange... but rang them and they won't entertain me... said I have to go through new connections...

Cheers,
Melon.

i had my original contract through the carphone warehouse and orange still offered me the upgrade deals after 12 months :) got a phone that shouldve been £90 on £25 a month, and an extra 60 minutes on top of the normal 25 a month tariff along with them accepting my out of date NUS card to get 1000 texts even though im not a student :)

So don't let that be a deciding factor on not from a shop :)

Tom.
