Where to get tyres nowadays?

Evening all,

My Duke 890 is due a new pair of tyres shortly and after getting a couple of quotes for some Road 5's I almost cried when both came back just shy of £390 fitted.
When the heck did tyres get so expensive?!

Where is everyone getting their tyres from nowadays?

Last set I bought were from Demon Tweeks and I fitted them myself.

If you've got a local friendly fitter you can buy them loose for about £250 from somewhere like Black circles.

I bought my last ones from “CamSkill” and then nipped to my local Dexel to have fitted.

Worked out cheaper than buying Fully Fitter from all other online retailers.

Asda Tyres, Black Circles, ATS Euromaster, Kwikfit, Halfords, Tyres on the Drive to name a few… Worth shopping around to see if any promotions are running.

I use Oponeo, but you'll need to find somewhere local to fit them for you.

About the same time everything else suddenly got ******* expensive.

I either use one of the local mobile fitters if I'm busy at work, or I go to Ride-In Tyres and get it done there.

Yea, got new tyres road 5 as well funnily enough, and yea the bill was like wtf.

I'm sure it was at least £100 more than last time.

yeh got road 6s recently and was just over £400.

Twotyres for my Supercorsas but it certainly pays to look about as prices change almost daily
