where to go from 754?

got an thlon 3000 newcastle in my rig. it's a biostar sff.

basicallly i think i have nowhere else to go wth regards to upgrading other than a new case/board/chip/ram....

is there any way of upgrading without huge expense? any ideas?

y'know i kinda figured that was it really.

im not desperate to do it now, was just thinkin few months time. it does all i need it to do without complaining one bit. the ideq 210p has been a beaut of a rig and it plays cs:s fine for me.

only grip with sff cases is... well, they're small! haha.... had to throw out (sell) my super sound card in place of my wifi card. i know i coulda gone usb for the adapter but that would have meant getting a usb hub and all kinds of sticky out bits which defeats the point of a small, tidy SFF case.

now, convincing the missus that the rig is no good for word docs... haha

out of curiosity, what sort of money would i be lookin at with this kind of rig

xp64 3000
1gb 3200 crucial
6600gt
nec 3520a
linsys 54g wifi card

im guessing 200 would be hopeful?

Well i sold my old system which was :

XP athlon 2800+
1gb of corsiar
Radeon 9600 pro 128mb
dvd writer
80 gig hard disc

got 260 for it 4 months ago

Your pc should go for 300 - 350 if you sell it to some 1 that doesnt know much about pc's

hmm...

tbh i wouldnt mind a lappy... i can live without cs and as long as i had plenty of storage, external hdd or whatever... hmmmmm...
