Where to go from a 2900XT?

Hey guys,

Before I lose ‘too much’ money on my 512 MB 2900XT, what card/s should I be looking at a suitable replacement – I’d be planning any upgrading for around a months time ;)

I've been playing most things on med/high: Bioshock, CoD4, TF2, Crysis, GoW etc. I only get slight lag and the occasional tear. This is particularly noticable in GoW tho :(

well i upgraded from hd2900xt to 8800gts g92 better fps in crysis cod4 other games not noticeable that much but i upgraded to not loose money

edit: but i suggest to go 3870x2 i would have if they were released
 
I went from a 2900XT to a G92 8800 GTS 512MB and I was very happy with the upgrade, was more of an upgrade than I expected.
 
If you decide not to get a 3870X2, an 8800GTS 512mb will be a good boost giving you noticable performance boost in most games especially with AA.

2900XT should not fetch much value any more, maybe get abit extra on the bay, I realised the seriousnous of the situation keeping the 2900XT and knew what would happen so I flogged it fast just before the GT came out and bagged £175 for it.

I got rid of my 2900XT on the bay, just over £100 + shipping.

I got a 8800 GTS (92) 512mb and I game at 1920x1200.

Or sell now get a cheap card till the new cards are out.
