Where to go to get some atmospheric shots...

I live in solihull, in the midlands, and me and a mate are planning to wax our cars up and do a photoshoot. The problem is we need a really good place to go. Like an abandoned air strip or something. Anyone know any decent places that are in rural areas??

Stoneleigh NAC has some cool hangars.
Industrial Estates usually have nicely painted huge roller shutter doors.
Underground car parks are pretty nice too, the grotty ones or alternatively the nice looking ones.
Bruntingthorpe airfield are very accommodating too if you call them up and explain what you want to do. They've got the huge planes there too you can stick your car by.

I'd be interested in this as well as I live in Redditch but work in Solihull and would love some decent pics of my car

what kind of rural area are you after? a really open area/field or wood etc
