Is there a website or a shop that sells a lot of them? I'm looking for history and science documentaries, so a website dedicated with these genres would be great. When I try and search for any I can only find a few.

I'm not interested in any streaming, I want physical copys.

Suggestions for good documentaries on these genres would also be appreciated, thanks.

Wow sorry I did not read your Op carefully enough. Surely Amazon is a pleathora of any dvd's or downloads.

If I were to choose science documentaries then I would get BBC Horizon over most, although the recent seasons have been poor, the 00's to 10's have been good.
Space documentaries, (although simple but entertaining) are the Universe series.
One of my favourite history documentaries is the morbid account of Auschwitz http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auschwitz:_The_Nazis_and_'The_Final_Solution'

Thanks I'll look into those. When i use Amazon to search i type in "history documentaries" i'm not getting that many results, I think Amazon only likes when you search for the actual product.

youtube has loads of science and history documentaries full length ones.

Most docus are made for tv or the internet and likely never see a dvd release
