I need to go to Bath tomorrow, near the Bath Abbey, can anyone recommend somewhere to park for an hour within walking distance of the Abbey? Happy to pay, just easy access, in and out of the city. Will be arriving from the north side.

Thanks

Last time I was there in a car traffic was a nightmare going into and out of the central bit surrounded by the river, so I'd avoid going any further into the city than needed... I'd just take the Lansdown park and ride tbh which should drop you off just north of the Abbey. Worked pretty well when I used it and services were about every 15 mins so shouldn't have to wait long.

Another vote for park & ride. Also plenty of free parking areas near(ish) the centre, - its such a small place that most places are withing walking distance!

Failing that, if you really need to park in the centre, you might as well just go for the big Southgate car park - that's about as central as your going to get!

Download Justpark, it will change your life, and no I'm not joking. Anyone can rent out their parking spots too so not only does it cover all the council / on-street / NCP types, it also includes private bays. As a Londoner, it's one of my most important apps.

I used that to park at a pub when I went to Wembley.

Ps I parked at Charlotte Street car park.
