Hope this is the right place for this, if I have say 2 or 3 front case fans would I plug them individually into separate fan headers on the mb if I had spare or join them together and plug into a single header ?
Thanks

Separate headers would be best.

A fan controller would be another option.

Fan splitters are available but you need to be aware of your fan power draw and be careful not to overload your motherboard's fan header.

What Tealc said.

If they are PWM you could use a PWM splitter with PSU power and only need to use one fan header for control. I usually have intake fans flowing air toward CPU speed controlled by CPU temp and fans flowing air to GPU speed controlled by GPU temp. If you can't do that control fans based on hottest one's temp. ;)

I have connected my case fans to the MB headers and configured them to be dependent on CPU temps. I have set the intake to be at 50% speed and ramp up with increasing temps above 50. But the CPU hardly ever goes to 50 so its nice and quiet.
I also have both exhaust as 50%.
