Just got the Akasa Fan controller pro, instructions are only good for spare paper. Im not a total idiot but I am pretty unsure as to where to put the thermal probes.

1. CPU?
2. PSU?
3. HDD - Just slap it on top or bottom of HDD
4. Case - Middleish of Case
5. Could leave out the case or HDD one and put it on my gfx card?

Any help is much appreciated.

I'd go for one on the graphics card core aswell,

I like the idea of one out of the case to get a rough ambient temperature though

I got a Hiper 580r psu so there really isnt any point in putting one in or around that is there, also I cant alter the fan speed of it so i think i will put the probes on GPU, CPU HDD and Case exhaust fan.

yeh but my ram will never overheat nor can i control a fan around it. I put it on my HDDs front fan, my cpu, gfx card and cooler and my exhaust fan. Thinik i broke my cpu temp probe as it isnt giving me a reading.

Ive got mine in my ram, its the only thing you cant gat a software temp reading for

Yeah but the problem is most readings are fairly innacurate so using a probe is likely to give far more accurate readings
