Where to sell a scooter?

My parents have asked me to advertise their scooter. They've assumed AutoTrader is the right place, but is it? I have no idea.

Can anyone suggest a good place to advertise? Free would be lovely, but I think they're willing to pay if it's likely to sell quickly.

Actually, I asked this question because I assumed Autotrader would be expensive - but it's free because he's selling for less than a grand. SO I've put it on there for now.

I'll keep this thread in mind if we decide to spread the net wider though, thanks!
