Where to Ski in June/July?

You're looking at glacier skiing at that time of year as it's a bit too early for the southern hemisphere to be sure of snow.

Can't think of any of the top of my head that are actually open during the summer though.

Edit: In fact July shouldn't be too bad actually.

Switzerland is not bad for glacier skiing: Les Diablerets, Saas-Fee, Zermatt
Also Austria, france and Italy have summer ski resorts.

Or as Jokester said you could go sking in the southern hemisphere: Australia (Mount Buller, Perisher Blue), New Zealand (Coronet Peak, Turoa), Chile (El Colorado lol) or Argentina

Im going sking this weekend and every weekend for the next few weeks :D

I can vouch for Chile and Argentina, some fantastic skiing to be had there if you go off the beaten path.

Yup. Only real place I would recommend is Chile, if you got a large amount of money saved for that time of the year.

What is japan like at that time of year?

Japan have some of the highest snowfalls in the world, more than the US sometimes. Its not a particularily known destination which is why i assume its not in the brochures. Supposedly has some great resorts though. Val thorens i think are open in the summer, not 100% sure though. Chile is probably the best forearly season but NZ and australia may have some good snow at that time of year depending on the season.

Does Japan have any glacier skiing?
