Where to start with this hedge?

Hi all,

My side hedges are in need of some TLC but I'm not sure where to start. They look great in the summer but they have grown a lot this year.

What tool is best for the job? I was thinking of getting the Stilhl Hedge Trimmer attachment for my Stihl FS 90 trimmer.

I do have a fairly lightweight Electric Hedge Trimmer but I don't think it would cut through some these thicker bushes.

Thanks all

A chainsaw would breeze through that and make it an easy job. Can you get a chainsaw attachment for the stihl?

I'm struggling to see the hedge in most of those pictures. Are they behind that collection of plants and bushes? :p The hedge in the middle photo looks ok though at the left hand side.

Electric hedge cutters would deal with most of that, a pair of cheap loppers would deal with the thicker branches.

404 no hedge found. Just get some loppers and hack away, no need for anything more IMO.

Thanks for the responses. Going to attack it tomorrow with the loppers and electric hedge cutter and see how it looks. I agree collecting and disposing (Burning) takes up a lot of the time.
