Where to stick the iMac remote on the Alu Imac

As Title: Where do you stick your remote. On the non-alu iMac it's magnetic and sticks anywhere. But I can't find a spot on the alu case they have designed for it to go???? Anyone have any nifty (or even the apple designed) solution?

On my NON-Alu 24¨ iMac it will only stick on the righthand bottom corner... it wont stick anywhere as you suggested... :confused:

Id try there first, failing that it will stick on the top (using gravity to help it)
 
R, sorry you're quite right. It only sticks bottom right. My remote is the same as my friends but doesn't stick there, he and I have tried all over it. The remote feels weighted like it has a magnet or plate in though.

It's no biggie, I just like the innovation of having it on the side rather than sat on the base.
 
They didn't remove it, I was wrong. Check the link AdWright posted. The first few seconds show the remote in the place where the magnet is!!!!

I haven't confirmed this yet, due to being stuck in work :(. When I get home I will.
 
The consensus in the macrumors thread that i posted is that they did remove the dedicated remote magnet and that the magnets that are used to stick the remote to the iMac in the youtube video are actually there to hold the glass screen on
