Hypothetically speaking, if money, life and commitments were not an issue and you had the ability to visit anywhere, where would you choose to go?

Also, are there any strange or unusual holiday activities you'd love to do given a chance?

I'll start. If I had the chance (and I hope I will soon), I would absolutely love to visit India, namely following the Ganges into the Himalayas and possibly Nepal. I would absolutely lap up the chance to visit the Taj Mahal, etc.

I also have a love for places carved out by ice (fjords, alpines, etc.), although I did find Ireland a bit disappointing (sorry!). I would love to visit these places and entertain my fancy for photography.

Likewise, I would really like to do an historical trip (WWII emphasis) around Europe, going to places such as The Eagle's Nest, Normandy beaches, etc.

As for an unusual activity, I just stumbled across this.

A couple of days on the moon with a few days in Earth's orbit would be my choice. It isn't going to happen any time soon though unless Richard Branson brings his prices down.

I'd also like to do the WW2 trip from the beahes of France to the Eagles nest.

My wish would be a grand tour of Russia including St. Petersburg and to visit the Amber Room.

I've been to the Normandy beaches, so that's one dream destination done.:)

I'd love to go to Mt Everest: I think conquering it would surely be one of the most physically demanding yet rewarding things a man can do.

Loads of places.

I've love to travel up India and into Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet before moving on to Mogolia.

I've like to travel though Jordan (I really want to see Petra), Syria and Iran.

I want to go back to SE Asia and to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos again.

I want to go though the jungles of Borneo.

Next year I'm planning to either go to Argentina or to Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands

I also want to travel Africa South to North by truck stopping off in Libya.

Finally, I want to go to Antarctica, just to see it and stand on the ice.

I've love to go to the maldives, such beatiful seas and been able to stand on the beach of a deserted island and feel like your the only person on earth, it would be a dream come to true to go there.

Also I'd like to go to places like Nepal, Butan, India, I've watched programs and find the landscape beautiful.
