The point I'm making is a Chernobyl tour doesn't really seem like a time to get ****** up and party. There's much better places for that.

You don't stay at cheynobyl. It's Kiev you stay, so nothing odd about it. A stupidly interesting tour during the day (or at least in my mind), back to Kiev to do more normal stuff.

There is one hotel actually. I went on a two day trip to Chernobyl and the hotel is here, not much to do so we just bought beer in a shop and drank in the hotel:

Booked Barcelona for Oct, staying just outside the city though and going to Subway it in, as it means I can get to by the beach for the kids and that. Should be great fun.

Would like to do a weekend in Prague though. See what the prices are like for December, as I'd like something nice and wintery!

Lucerne or Lugano would be awesome. We went to Lugano and it has the most beautiful lake (near Como) and it's Italian Switzerland, just stunning.

We're a couple of hours away, so going to go back there again.
