When you put it like that it does bring home with a force the reality of the situation. £60k is the amount that I'm hoping to put down as a deposit on a property very soon, GULP!

60k is a bloody good deposit for a house too, especially if its your first one!

It's not uncommon - people post threads with the hope of them being full of praise and jealousy, but get very upset when people don't react like that

Any links to details of what makes it not an A3?

The differences except for styling seem to the the engine? I assume the 4WD system comes from the A3 Quatto/S3? It's a very fast A3, but I'm curious why you'd see it as not being an A3

He could have done that, but when he disclosed the full finance details it was hard to not focus on that.

I thought this was strange too. The thread was essentially geared up for a discussion surrounding the value of the car, and if it's worth the money.

Trying to talk to Pioneer is like arguing with a brick wall (see the mustang thread), its interesting that he states 'it's actually a far more capable car than most own here', i'm curious to know what possible relevance this has to the subject in hand.
