Where's Internet Explorer?

I had it about a week ago but now it's gone. I've searched for it but no sign. The only way i can get on it is to go on windows update.
Is there any way to get it back instead of reinstalling XP?

Does C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe exist? If not, download IE 6 (or 7 if you want) and install.

No, i can't find it and the only way i have found to download IE6 is to download SP2 again but doesn't that mean i will have to download all the updates again?

Well I doubt it will install to be honest, what exactly have you done to get IE to "disappear"? It shouldn't be possible, something fairly serious is amiss!

I'm not sure how but the last windows program i uninstalled was MSN Explorer. Anything to do with that?

goto your bookmark folder and double click on one of your bookmarks, see what browser gets loaded if any.

It's nigh on impossible to uninstall IE without causing problems. I'm fairly certain it IS impossible to do by accident.
