I've got a LG W23 something or the other 3D monitor (Nvision ready). The only problem is that I can't seem to get 120hz any longer, with only 60hz being available.

Is it something to do with my rig?

It's currently connected via a HDMI<DVI to a 8800 GTS 640mb via a HDMI cable. Latest drivers installed. The cable is a 1.4 spec.

Thanks

I just used that google thingy and found

'120Hz is not supported via HDMI'

So you must need to use the DVI connection on your graphics card to the DVI connection on the monitor.

Aye, with 120Hz monitors like that LG you need to connect the monitor up to your graphics card using a Dual-link DVI connection to get 120Hz 2D and 3D. The HDMI connection on that monitor is 2D-only and only supports up to 1920x1080@60Hz.
