Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 WindForce OC 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I downloaded COD Warzone to play with a few friends and even with everything set to the lowest I'm only getting peaks of 48-50 frames. She's been a faithful ol' girl but I think it needs some money spent, could someone enlighten me as to where my current bottleneck lies?

Thanks,
Ben.

Okay so both my CPU and GPU are flat out, CPU whilst loading screens and GPU in-game.

Recommendations on upgrades for the pair?

If your GPU is flat out in games, then that is the thing that is the bottlenecking your frame rate in game - how much that will change if you get a faster GPU depends on how much head room your CPU currently has when you are playing (that will change from game to game).

On that point, when playing COD Warzone and your GPU is running flat out, what is your CPU running at? By the way, core break down is better than just a single over all percentage - if one core is nearly flat out, then you probably don't have a lot of headroom in that game for frame rate increase if you do get a faster GPU without upgrading the CPU.

Another question is, what is your budget? Finally, I thought I'd mention, just in case you don't know (although I'm guessing you probably do), to upgrade the CPU, you'll need to also upgrade the motherboard and RAM (to DDR4). Incidentally, what resolution do you play games at?

hmm, here is my 2p

i currently own a i5-6600K
running an RX580, it was fine

upgraded my GPU to a 5700 XT, bottlenecked my CPU in more up-to-date games

I then tried to O/C my CPU from 3.5 to 4.5 , now it plays ball, less of a bottleneck

your CPU is the year before mine, my CPU is like 15% faster or so

i see you have a 1060 though, so im guessing is about an RX 580 speed ?

your memory is not DDR 4 its DDR 3 , so i assume that is making a difference
