I have both win xp 32 bit(C:\) and 64 bit(D:\) installed on my system, I just reinstalled win xp 32 bit but I've lost the OS choices menu which normally showed up before during boot up. Anyone know how I can get it back as I can no longer access 64bit partition, even when I press F8. Thanks for the help.

Try :

Right Click my computer -- Properties

Advanced tab

Startup and Recovery -- Settings

Time to display list of operating systems <-- Make sure this is ticked

Thats all I can think off atm :S good luck

start, run, c:\boot.ini (if c is the current windows drive)

look here to see how to edit it

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289022

rdisk (1) would mean second hard drive
partition (2) would mean second partition

you can also use msconfig (start, run) to check the boot paths after editing it (make a copy of the file before saving it -need to have all files show (hidden etc)
