Where's the best place to sell a road bike?

Due to on going problems with my back and now shoulder I'm looking to sell my 2013 Canyon Roadlite AL F6 Road Bike. I've done less than 20 miles since new and it's spent it's whole life in our bedroom!

I don't want to get rid of it but my wife as pointed out I'll have to sell it at some point and the longer I leave it the less it's worth. Still love cycling but will have to make do with Eurosport coverage for the time being!

I really have no Idea what it's worth, never seen one on ebay so no guide. It cost me about £900 delivered from Germany and it's still in new condition. I'd like to get back £600 for it but with ebay fees etc. I'd only be left with £510

Does anyone know the best place to sell road bikes maybe a MM for bikes?

Try the Bike Radar Classifieds section. Seems ok and I bought my Wilier from there.

Any of the big cycling websites should have some sort of classified section. Road.cc, bikeradar, ctc...

That's interesting, the few miles I did do were on a couple of dry sunny days, it literally looks new

Most bikes seem to sell better on Ebay than other places, it just depends if that offsets the fee's you pay for there...

What size is it and groupset/colour? Is it the whole white one I'm thinking of? (No I'm not allowed to buy a bike this side of xmas lol)

Not that I'm trying to tempt you Roady! It's Canyon Size S (54cms) I'm 5ft 8", Groupset = 105, it's mostly black with yellow stripes and white Canyon branding. Nice looking bike

With regards to ebay I'd literally have to sell it on a "Buy it Now" for £695 to achieve £600 which I don't think will happen

I do still have the shipping box for it so could post but the would be around £20 - £30. Just don't think I could lose more than £300 on £900 that's had about an hours use

Pink Bike has a for sale section, that might be worth a look. I have no idea about how good it is to sell on though.

I've found Gumtree to be pretty good actually (for everything including buying/selling a bike).
I usually put it higher than I would on forums and sometimes people pay asking even though I leave room for a lower offer.
