to buy some good quality clear perspex?

I want to mod my Z9 so that I have one big clear window and will take the power tools to it in order to do it, but I think I'll drill some holes to attach the side fans still.

I know you can get covers for fans to stop dust coming in, but are there any other suitable materials I could use to cover the fans to allow air flow but stop dust getting in?

interesting, thank you. Would I see any benefit using a thicker or thinner perspex? My immediate thought is thinner would be better in the sense that a thinner perspex may let heat transfer out easier, but surely not enough to see an amazing difference where 4mm would be a lot sturdier and easier to cut that 2mm.
