wheres the DAM GRADIENT TOOL *grr*

im new to photoshop cs2, and im following this guide on how to draw a simple ball.

I got to step number 3...and now i cannot for the life in me find the graident tool. Ive been into the help files and net, and it just doesnt appear on my toolbox!!! or am i going crazy

ive held down all the ones that have the little arrow in the corner,but it just isnt there

mate that looks like adobe image ready tool bar that you have open there and not photoshop ( they do look very a like )

photoshop ----- --- --- -- --- -- -- ImageReady

you are probably just opening with the wrong icon.

(p.s mine is photoshop CS not CS2 if they do look a little different )

ive made a new layer, coloured it purple but how do i "Overlay color fill"

i like it apart from the top left, the shadow or whatever it is, its too thick
