Where's the hash key?

Trying to write some shellscript, and I cant find the hash key anywhere!

Help...

I'm using a new style wired apple keyboard.

It's easy to remember, but when you can sometimes spend whole days typing hex colour codes or comments, alt3 is a bit of an awkward reach on an MBP keyboard

This is far from being one of them.

I find the inability to upgrade my HD in my MBP an actual annoyance and something they got wrong.

What would be nice is a fully customisable keyboard layout, then no-one would have any problems.

It is considered geeky enough to be hidden, hence you know the real Mac users from the imposters when they first ask "where's the haskey"
