Which 1070 to get?

My MSI 1070 armor oc is working pretty well. doesnt say a thing and while the fans seems to spin all the time its not audible over other components like the pump on my AIO enermax and im sitting with my midi tower on the desk next to my right ear. Highest temp i recall seeing is around 72-73 degrees i think. I find that perfectly acceptable.

Do your fans definitely spin all the time? The MSI GTX 1070 Armor details page advertise 'Zero Frozr' fan stop < 60C, does that not actually happen?
 
Everyone seems to say the Palit Jetstreams are the quietest 1070's, anyone know how they compare to the Zotac?

The Jetstream is £380 as well so I was all set to get one of them but the 2 year warranty is rather off putting.

Yup but the cause might be crappy drivers as usual. currently on the 369.09 and my card is stock on 3d base clocks all the time. Ive had this issue a lot with my old 980 ti and it seems to continue spite running the desktop at 120hz instead of 144hz. silly nvidia.

EDIT: quick edit. i removed the 369.09 driver and DDU'd and then installed the 369.05 and it still has the same stupid gsync 3d clock bug but disabling/reactivating gsync has always fixed that little annoyance. That said card is now clocking down to 200mhz and fans are no longer spinning when idle. Temps are also dropped due to this and im sitting at 40 idle(remember no fan is spinning). Time will tell if the rest of my issues are still there or gone..
