Which 1070?

After much debating over the weekend, I've finally decided to bite the bullet and get a 1070.

Problem now is that, after many years of buying Sapphire AMD cards, I don't know which Nvidia partner card to buy. I don't overclock and fancy lights and such isn't a concern as my case isn't windowed, all I need is a 1070 with a decent, low noise cooler.

Any suggestions?

I'm in the same boat, waiting for the prices to drop closer to the £330 mark where they are supposed to be. Some partner cards might have better / quieter coolers than others, but I don't think it's worth paying an extra £50 for that. The cheaper cards from KFA2 should be ok - I've heard they are a good brand from searching on a few forums.

How long can you wait? The longer the better the more stock levels and more choice you will have.

Realistically, I can wait a bit as my current card still does a job on Battlefield.

Saying that though, I have a pile of games that I'm just itching to play that my R9 270x just can't handle. so I'm in a bit of a mixed situation.

Been looking at the KFA2, also been looking at the MSI gaming x and the EVGA SC.

My computers in the living room, so really need the cooler to be as quiet as possible\affordable so that I don't annoy the Mrs.

The new Gainward cards just appeared today I think, and they look interesting. Especially the "Goes Like Hell" edition which has an overclock of around 11% on the core, and memory at either 4250 MHz or 4500 depending on where you look. There's a £65 premium for that overclock though, and only a 2 year warranty.
