Hi lads,

I recently got a 35" ultra wide which I absolutely love. Now I am upgrading from a 1070FTW to a 1080ti but in your opinion which of the 1080's is the best? Thanks

I've just upgraded from an EVGA 1070 FTW myself to a 1080 TI. I went for the MSI gaming. Good build quality, stout back plate, quiet fans (double ball bearings), OC's well and no noticeable coil whine below a couple of hundred FPS.

Now is it worth the extra £50 over the Gigabyte card? I think so personally but ultimately it's up to you to decide that. Good luck.

The gigabyte card seems so cheap not sure I can say no at that price, is the Aorus THAT much better?

Anyone know if OCUK buy 2nd hand GPU's in full working order?

Go for the MSI Gaming at £630. The Gigabyte Windforce is cheaper for a reason - basic power phase, no backplate and not as cool and quiet as the MSI Gaming.

Aorus gets good user feedback generally, but my Aorus 1080Ti was really bad at keeping temps down although very quiet at load. I admit that I might have had a rare dud, but the MSI Gaming is the most well balanced card going for the price by far.

I was amazed Zotac Mini GTX 1080ti also had a waterblock for it too. Tempted to go that way but just went with the G12.
