Hi all. I'm looking for a simple but effective sleeve type case to hold my iBook in, which I will then put in my rucksack when I take it with me. I've found the following on the Apple UK site and I've heard a lot about the Tucano ones, but never about the others so I would like to know if anyone has any opinions on them, and also if there are any others around the same price range that you would recommend.

Crumpler The Gimp 12" Silver £17.95
Tucano Second Skin dark grey for iBook 12” £17.95
Incase Neoprene Laptop Sleeve 12" - Black £19.95

I have a black Tucano second skin for my 12" PB and it does the job perfectly. And because its neoprene, it will keep your laptop warm when it goes diving* ;)

*Do not let your laptop go diving, it will drown.

I highly recommend the STM Rebound cases. They're made of a thick foam like material that does a really good job of absorbing knocks.

Been carrying my iBook around in my backpack for almost a year now with one of these and not a scratch on it.

Got my Macbook Tucano this morning, fits nicely and looks pretty funky.. shame it stinks so much of neoprene :)

I can take a few pics if anyone is really that interested ;)

My only problem with them was the opening at one end. I really don't understand why they're like that when they used to have a flap. Their website says they removed the flap 'for more reasons than they can list'. I wanted mine to be completely encased.. never know else might be in my bag :)
