Which 1440p high refresh rate monitor should I go for?

I've been looking at trying to get the Dell S2721DGF or LG 27GN850-B

Does anyone have any other recommendations or should I go for one of these?

Those are the two best IPS for the size and price. The Dell is a little bit better than the LG and you get 165Hz - this is the monitor that I have and it’s brilliant.

Both monitors can be had on sale for under 400. Dell often have the monitor on sale on their site.
 
I would go for the Dell just based on their better warranty. Many monitors are completely out of stock at the moment, probably as a result of Covid. Just contact Dell to see when it is back in stock.
 
I have been looking too but I just wish there were more 32" ones. I dont think I could go back to 27/28" and unfortunately UW would be a tight fit. Also noticed curved ones seem to be more popular nowadays but I steer away from them as I tried one in Curry's and it just made me dizzy and feel sick. (I`m long/short sighted in different eyes and wear glasses)
 
The Dell is very good, I have one, luckily I asked on here at just the right time and was pointed towards it before it became too well known and popular, theres a whole thread dedidated to it further down this forum.
Basically there are now stock issues with it being very popular, and with logistics issues presumably due to covid and some manufactuting issues as they cant get the parts to build them fast enough for demand.

Yea, that's overpriced; you're paying for the RGB. Payed around 370 for my Dell and there is very little difference in performance - I've also seen the LG on sale for around that price.
 
Not thought about the samsung g7 27"/32" odyssey, 240hz, gsync, qled, hdr600, 1440p. Does have a va panel though but I prefer them due to the deeper black levels / better contrast.
