Just ordered the Belinea 1925S1W 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black/Silver (MO-005-BE) from OcUK but noticed there is the Hanns-G 19inch WS one at the bottom for the same price, they both are the same ms (5ms) but the Belinea has a better contrast ratio, and hanns-g has dvi-d + analogue whereas the belinea just has analogue.

I game a lot and im aware that some games need fix'es to sort the resolution, im just wondering if i should change my order from the belinea to the Hanns-G and if so why? What advantages does it have, i like the look of both, so that wouldnt really sway me.

Please help me so i can ring and possibly change my order if need be.

Thanks
Daniel.

dont. i have 2 belineas and they are fantastic for gaming. you'll still need to fix the resolution on the hanns-g. check out the wdiescreen gaming wiki for ini's for games which dont support widescreen.

Which would be more of an advantage to have...the 850:1 contrast ratio on the Belinea or the DVI input on the Hanns-G?

i'd say neither give much advantage. the vga is good on the belineas, and the contrast ratio doesnt make much difference. BUT the belineas look nicer, the build quality is better and they have a thinner bezel.

edit: forgot to mention the 3 year on-site warranty of the belineas
