Which 2 screens?

I need a monitor and i'm soo tempted to get one though a couple of reviews say at low settings you can hear the inverter buzz whine.

I have two and experience no buzzing - using the following settings:

Brightness 10
Contrast 70

Some forum members have experienced buzzing when dropping brightness values but have returned the monitors for replacements (via DELL)- as it's regarded as a fault.

Thanks folks, I think I am going to go with 2x 2209wa's, but I'm concerned that they share the grainy anti glare coating which stops my eyes from focussing correctly. I understand this is not something that affects everyone.

Sorry, i can't advise you on this as, you have rightly indicated, it's a very subjective thing.

The only thing i would suggest is that as you're ordering 2 - upon receipt, only open/set up one of the monitors at first and use it for a few days. That way if you find you're having focussing issues the rma via the DSR will be easier with only one box opened. (i'm not sure how happy they would be if you returned 2 opened boxes via the DSR.)

For the people that had them replaced - on the whole, yes.

The problem seemed to be with the earlier revisions (but this may be a forum trend rather than fact) - but i can't really comment as i've only read about peoples experiences - i've been fortunate enough to have buzz free screens.
