Hi
Looking at upgrading my 1070 to a 2070 Super. I have a G-Sync monitor so a RX 5700 XT isn't a option really.

I was thinking of either a Palit 2070 Super JS or Gigabyte 2070 Super Windforce OC?

Out of two which would you recommend?

Thanks

Zotac has the best warranty (5 years). I'd be surprised if there's that much difference in performance between them.

This.

5 years UK based warranty, they're often among the better priced models too. Gigabyte comes in second in terms of warranty length but is still UK based.

Outside of a few outliers, there's not much point in paying a premium for one 2070S over another 2070S. I'd just get the cheapest Zotac or Gigabyte model with a non-reference cooler I could find.

Zotac have a UK based warranty? Since when? :)

Oh and my copy of FF7R arrived by the way :p;)

They've had one for a couple of years at least AFAIK, I've read over a few RMA experiences on here and elsewhere and they always seem to be spot on. If I was buying a Nvidia card they'd be my first choice tbh, with Gigabyte in second place.

I'm jealous! I've an ASDA delivery coming on Wednesday with plenty of soda and junk food (as well as essentials of course, I'm not wasting delivery slots for crap before someone asks) to keep me going come Friday when I finally get to play. :D

That is good news. I agree with what you said. I would go Zotac next for the extra warranty, only thing is I will likely pick up a RTX 3070 Founder Edition direct from Nvidia unless aftermarket cards get released at the same time.

Nice you are set then. So am I, the 45GB update is not far of from being ready. I suggest you install your update asap and have it ready for Friday ;)

Hopefully the 3000 series gives us a decent jump in performance.

The game has pre-loaded for me so I'm hoping the update is included in that, seems to have downloaded overnight automatically.
