Which 20inch TFT?

I currently have a LG monitor but i want to upgrade this as i seem to be spending all my time in front of a computer. Now i mainly use my monitor for gaming counterstrike, web browsing and watching films on. Now im contemplating on going for the Dell 2007 at £305 but not too sure whether i should buy a widescreen on normal monitor? Have i made a good choice on this monitor and which one do you think i should go for, wide or non wide?

I have two of those monitors, and they are excellent. Widescreen gaming is fantastic and movies look so much better! I had a LG L1710B and a LG L1510S before I got two of the 2007WFP, so much wasted space on my LG when watching a movie with the huge black area above and below!

Right now that the dell is a priced up which other monitors can compared with the Dell one? The NEC one looks just as good but i preferred a black widescreen monitor so what other options do i have apart from the Dell?

Oh can both monitors have multi pages e.g. Watch video on one half and say typing on the other?

I just tried it with powerDVD and it didn't work, but you can tile vertically for using say IE and MS Word at the same time.

But doesnt the Dell have the HDCP support thing whatever that means? Although the NEC might be better but i might settle for the Dell as it has the HDCP support thing and its in black

Head says NEC but i really do prefer the overall look of the Dell monitor

both monitors will do you well.

I doubt if you put these two monitors side by side, the Nec would look any crisper displaying moving high res textures swiftly. horizontally.

The Dell might be better for colour reproduction.

I have a dell 2005fpw, Nec20xg2
