Looking for a good looking BLACK (got to be black) 22inch monitor, for prefearbally under £250. Ive been looking at the samsung 226bw as my first choice, but i'm put off by some of the problems you guys are having with it (back light bleed, blue tinge, c panels e.t.c.

Have also looked at the asus 22 inch one? ive heard the problems have been cleared with the new ones?

I don't want ghosting and i would like a pretty well spec'd monitor.

Any ideas?

ok after looking around im very tempted by the hp 2207, a lot of people say its better than the sammy and ive seen it for £210.
Should i get?

YES!

It's an amazing monitor. Had mine 3 weeks now, I still can't get over how good the image quality is for a TN panel!

I had a c panel samsung before it and it paled in comparison.

If overclockers sold these they would certainly knock the samsung off the top spot, yes they are that good!

The stand is exceptional for a monitor at this price point, yet there is no compromise in build quality.

Just what i wanted to here. I was looking for a monitor that matched the samsung in looks but didnt sacrifice quality. Sounds like this is infact better than the samsung, but i suppose its not so popular round here because overclockers don't sell it.

Does the HP have an adjustable stand? I believe the sammy does not.
