which 24'' 1920x1200 ?

as the title says...either the
Dell UltraSharp U2412M
or
Samsung S24A450BW
will be used for gaming with a 6950 until the 8000 series comes out

i think its the 8ms putting me off..will there be much difference, as the samsung is 5ms?

I have no issues at all gaming on the Dell. No ghosting or anything.
These are all good screens, it depends on what is most important to you. If you are a hard core FPS with the reflexes of a rabbit on crack, then you should go for one of the 120Hz TN panels.
If you'd a better quality image with more contrast and better colours and still be fine for gaming, then the Dell IPS is a better option.

Try reading some of the reviews on TFT Central for the models you're interested in.
