lol, i wouldnt say that is a particularly narrowed down list!
since you've got the money to spend, i'd say you'd probably be best with a non TN Film model to be honest, otherwise you'd have to put up with the restrictive viewing angles that technology offers, which could become frustrating for movie viewing certainly. The TN Film models are quite good for gaming, and often have low input lag (compared with a couple of the others there), but to be honest, some of the VA/IPS models are still perfectly fine in this regard anyway.
I'd therefore rule out the Samsung 245B, Iiyama B2403WS and BenQ G2400W since they are TN Film based, and you'd be better with the more rounded performance of the VA/IPS models i think. The Hazro is the only IPS model there and does offer some good all round performance, including the widest viewing angles of the lot. It is free from the off centre cotnrast shift that some people notice on VA panels, but tbh, not really a big issue to most people at all. The only draw back really of the Hazro's performance is that the black depth and contrast ratio are pretty poor, especially if you compare them with VA panels. I reviewed the Hazro
here which might help.
The Dell 2408WFP is a very good screen and offers a mass of connectivity options and ergonomic adjustments. however, there's been a fair few issues reported by many people with the screen, so it might be worth waiting for the A01 revision to be released if you wanted to consider the Dell. I reviewed the 2408WFP
here as well. I thought ti was very good, and didnt really see any issues apart fromt he very high input lag. The
A01 udpate is
supposed to fix the issues including the input lag, and if it does, it might well be ideal for you. for gaming though, the current 2408WFP models are not ideal.
The BenQ FP241W might be a very good choice i think. great all round performance, no real issues to report either. The Z model might even offer an extra edge for gaming so worth considering for it's BFI technology, designed to reduce perceived motion blur and improve gaming performance.
I dont know much about the OcUK Value screen really, but it's received good reports from buyers here. It's basic in design and features, putting it far behind the Dell and BenQ models, but the performance seems to be very good. If you want to save money, i'd still consider this one, but if it were me, i think the pull of the more high end models would be too much
So in summary, i'd say either get the BenQ FP241W (possibly the Z model in fact), or wait for the Dell 2408WFP A01 and see if the input lag and other issues are fixed
