I've heard bad things recently about Hazro, really does put me off. Within my price range for a 27" 1440p IPS panel, I've come up with the following:

Hazro HZ27WiE 8Bit - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...ktdetailseite&emcs2=MO-022-HO&emcs3=MO-025-HO

Hazro HZ27WD-V2 10Bit - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...ktdetailseite&emcs2=MO-018-AO&emcs3=MO-022-HO

AOC Q2770PQU - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-018-AO

The AOC panel now seems like the obvious choice. But does anyone have any sage advice for me before I convince my other half?

Based of plenty of OKUK Customer feedback suggests Hazro customer service is non existent so you should appraise on the basis of the one year warranty with the reseller (OCUK). I know it is not down to OCUK to support after the first years warranty but I find it disappointing that OCUK have stayed quiet regarding this problem given the Hazro monitors are sold on the site with either 2 or 3 year warranty.

From a comparision point of view the Hazro monitors are both glossy screen the AOC is a matte screen so very different monitors to look at.

My Hazro 27"WA monitor (just inside 3 year warranty) has served me well but recently a few flecks of dust (look like small clumps of dead pixels) have accumulated behind the screen, highlighting the poor bezel build quality and I have emailed Hazro as really it is a warranty issue and received zero response.
