Which 2Gb DD2 opinions sort..

building a p5b-deluxe + E6600 for a friend and undecided on which brand of DDR to comlipment the build. Due to budget restrictions my current thinking is either

1) OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series

2) G.Skill 2GB (2x1GB) PK PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit

3) Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-5300C3 667MHz Dual Channel Kit

opinions sort on choice and why.

As much as the geil is very tempting i wont install it anymore. I've just had to many issues in the past with geil matched pairs. (i acknowledge others may have a differing history with geil)

so a tick for 3

Add another tick to option 3. I'm on p5b Deluxe, E6420 and the Ballistix 5300C3. Seems a very nice combination thus far.

I would get the Ballistix even if I wasn't on a budget. Heard nothing but good things about them so they'll probably be what I get when I upgrade.

GeIL is my most disliked RAM now, due to 3 RMA's needed! in less than 2months!

if i recall correctly, think I rma'd somewhere in the region 10+ separate geil orders over a period of a year or so (sometime ago now). I came to the conclusion geils QandA procedure was slack and the rma hassle outweighed the savings.

which ram would you pick out of my choices ace modder?
