I dont know which 2gb of memory to get, will be ordering a new system either tomorrow or wednesday. Here are some of my other components i am getting:

DFI Expert mobo
PowerColor X1800XT

And i already have brand new 146 Opteron and 165 Opteron.

Obviously i want the best memory for overclocking, so heres what ive narrowed it down 2:

Mushkin 2GB DDR XP4000 Extreme Performance Dual Channel Kit (2x1GB) CAS3 (991483) (MY-000-MK)

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC4000 Dual Channel Gold GX XTC Series EL-DDR CAS3 (OCZ5002048ELGEGXT-K) (MY-060-OC)
Price: £149.95 (£176.19 Including VAT at 17.5%)

G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x1GB) CAS2 Dual Channel Kit (F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX) (MY-007-GS)
Price: £134.95 (£158.57 Including VAT at 17.5%)

So i cant really decide between these kits, so any help and advice would be greatly appreciated :) .

Corsair XMS3500LL Pro? Expensive but seems to clock well and is decent stuff. Add that to the list.

G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit (F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ) (MY-008-GS)
Price: £129.95 (£152.69 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Best Value for money. Use a divider if needed and voila :)

I've got the Gskill HZ and running them at 260 1:1 with my opteron 170.
Great ram,Great Value, people are overclocking these to 280mhz

Work great with my DFI expert Mobo.

performance wise, not necessarily for an overclock the gskill 3200 may be a better bet with the tighter timings.

there are a few threads about at the mo discussing overclocks against timings, which i understand to mean that a64s will make use of tighther timings when combined with an ok overlock against slacker timings and high fsb, so 220fsb at 6-2-2-2 will perform about the same as 260 8-3-3-3.

does appear to vary slightly from system to system.
