Photoshop (only tiny bit)

thats about it... really. lol

looking for good qaulity though

Hope you can help

Oh Budget £1500?

I'd go for Apple Cinema Display. It is £1173 and IMO is the best looking screen around. Although they might update it quite soon.

The Hazro 30" seemed to have the lowest input lag, calibrated to the best accuracy, and also had the best response time. Oddly enough they were also the cheapest by quite a way! Unfortunately i've no idea where you can get one from now :S If anyone finds out though do please drop me an email to my trust!!

well im looking about
the only 4 30" monitors i can find are
DELL
HP
Apple
Samsung

Dell - Very high input lag. = no show.

HP - 12ms great contender.

Samsung = NO HDCP = fail.

Apple - few sites state it does not work on PC & no HDCP = double fail.

so atm i got to go with HP unless Hazro show up or some other monitor company have one i do not know of?

Sysetm Req. from Apple site:
System Requirements
Mac with Dual-Link DVI port
Mac with Mini DisplayPort using Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter (sold separately)
Windows PC and graphics card that supports DVI ports with dual-link digital bandwidth and VESA DDC standard for plug-and-play setup[/B]
Not sure what idiot would say they don't work with PC.

And why on earth would you need HDCP for your "Gaming, Web/MSN, Photoshop (only tiny bit)"???

its better to have it and not have it.
some Gaming now Requires HDCP to. its a standard of the last 2 years.id rather have it. specailly if i can not do somthing i want to, in the future it would be a waste od £1000!

well i have the dell 3007 and thinks its an excellent monitor, i play games edit photos do all sorts, had no problems and would definately reccomend it to anyone, so i suppose the 3008 should be better if only slightly, and also the customer service with dell is second to none, i had a problem with mine or so i thought, phoned dell at 4pm and they had a replacement on my doorstep at 9.30 am the very next day. cant fault them.

I'm sure I'd read that the Dell 3007 didn't have the input lag problem the 3008 has. Early Hazro 30" models used the same panel as the Dell 3007 and so had similar performance although I'm sure I remember that Hazros are now based on the 3008 panel.

I could be wrong.

The Hazro 30" has a remarkably quicker response time than the Dell,
