Like many others, I have the itch. fixed DLSS, RTX IO etc.

I dont care about factory o/c, but do care about cooler.

I remember my palit 1070 been the best built card I ever owned but ocuk doesnt have any 3080 gamerock premium.

Suggestions for best lower priced 3080? cooling wise.

If you intend to buy anytime soon I think you can safely ignore the above.

You'll be lucky to get a card this year if you intend on ordering now, there's a backlist of people who ordered on launch day being told they need to wait until October at the very least.

Asus Tuf @ £649 for the vanilla version (there is an OC one for a little more). About the lowest temps at a little under FE noise levels.
Zotac Trinity @£660 ish one of the quietest, at the expense of cooling, but still beating FE by 5 deg under load.
Gigabyte Eagle OC @650 ish a tad louder than FE, But cooling better by 7 deg.

Bear in mind those prices are what they should be, not the inflated versions. ;)
My choice for lowest cost to performance all round would be the Asus TUF.
 
yeah sadly I havent seen a tuf for £650. It took for the imminent arrival of 2000 series for 1080ti to hit MSRP, hope its not the same with these.
 
If I missed out on the initial orders, I would be waiting. The retailers have jacked up the prices. Which will settle again when they have more stock. Give it a few months.
