Hi Guys,
yet another which 32 inch HD LCD TV to go for...apologise in advance ;-)
Main use is going to be xbox 360 / ps3 and watching movies ...have about £850 to spend
After one with great colours , deep blacks and fast response times...i have been looking at the Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2010 32'' Freeview HD Ready LCD TV / Toshiba 32WLT66...and just noticed the Hyundai VVuon Q320 32" HD Ready TV Including here on Oc/Uk which looks a great price, not really up on the latest Lcd's so any advice and reccommendations would be greatly appreciated :-).

Regards Nat

i have a q321, same panel as the q320. it does not have a hdmi port, but it has a hdcp enabled dvi port which is what i use with a htpc, its quite a nice panel but the blacks could be better. when using the full screen you don't really notice it but if it is letterboxed it is quite obvious.

Hi, thanks for the reply...it certainly looks a nice panel and it's a good price, how do you find the colours? nice and vibrant?

films look quite nice, cartoons are excellent (futurama/simpsons etc) but when it comes to things like startrek next gen :o the colours appear quite dull, not sure if it is the unit or the program themselves (moved from a 14" tv to this monster)

console gaming is good and bright, still waiting to try a friends 360 on it but half life 2 - lost coast looked gorgeous! just a shame that if there's a lot of black it can be quite noticable. (the dullness of the black)

LG32lx2r - Awesome screen.

More connections then you could imagine, 1x1 pixel resolution via dvi.
Great colours, xbox 360 via component looks great.

Had this screen for 2 months and have never looked back.
Can be had for £800 now.

Hi....thanks for the replies guys, the LG32lx2r looks very nice...going to see if i can find a few reviews of it.

I have the 32LX2R, excellent screen for HD and PC use, but the SD stuff looks pretty average. I don't use mine for TV use (atm) so I'm quite happy with it.

If it's mainly for Xbox 360 / HD and movies then i'd say 32WLT66 (for around £750). If you'd rather have a slightly better picture quality (especially for SD sources), at the sacrifice of a 2nd HDMI socket then the Sony KDL-32S2010 is an excellent choice for around the same price.

Of course if you can stretch to £1060 then the Sony 32V2000 can be yours, and that's superb for SD and HD, and looks damn good also :D

Toshiba 32wlt66 all the way.
Great quality tv all round, loads of reviews all over the net say so and for less than 750 notes a bargain.

If you can stretch to it the Sony V2000 is king, if not I'd probably take the tosh over the LG if your going to be doing any SD viewing.

Thanks everyone for the input...really appreciate it, going to go have a look at a few of them in the flesh...though leaning towards the Toshiba seems great value for a quality lcd...read a few reviews and all seem to rate it highly.

Definately. I've got this and for the price it's excellent! 2 HDMI ports bot with HDCP swung it for me against the Sony Bravia KDL32S2010. I payed about £890 about 2 months back.
