Looking to increase my screen real estate, for multitasking and for gaming. I was impressive visuals in games like Skyrim, Fallout, Witcher 3, etc. Preferably something "normal" looking, without LEDs and a big garish gaming stand on it.

I'm not looking for something that is designed to bleed every single frame at the cutting edge, just a big impressive panel for me to roam around various worlds in and kill things. Bonus points if it has dual HDMI so I can plug my Switch or PS4 in to swap around.

I'd need to upgrade my GPU at the same time, because my current one (in sig) only supports up to 2560x1600.

Budget is approx £400 for the monitor and I'm just working out what kind of money I need to drop on a GPU, so if I can tick the above boxes without spending all the £400, that's great.

Something along the lines of:

Any recommendations?

What about the new Samsung curved model UR59C ?

Has 1x DP and HDMI.

Comes in under your budget too, I'm happy with mine...

Yes its the Katana, went for this over traditional speakers as the sound bar sits perfect in front of the monitor and is just a neater solution imo. Build quality is good and the sound quality is decent, nice clear crisp sound and no distortion when cranked up. Plenty of tweaking to be had in the software as well as loads of lighting options to mess with. No regrets with buying this which replaced a 7.1 setup.
